Many, many students sail out of high school and their parents’ structure only to find the freedom of college a HUGE SHOCK. It is such a hard transition: freedom, choices, unscheduled time, loneliness. Students come to us with low grades, academic probation, budgeting disasters, low confidence and even disciplinary actions. We support students through goal setting, structure, frequent contact, and accountability.
Academic Coaching begins with a detailed client intake meeting. Together, we examine the student’s learning styles, work habits, and barriers to success. Our Coaches have weekly virtual review and planning meetings to set up a seven-day plan.
